The society found it's cause in 2007 when it's founding members, "Sapphire" and "Spinelicker" happened across this rare creature. A combination of squid and lemur, only roughly 500 of these magnificent animals are known to exist today, thanks to heavy poaching and harvesting. Their only known natural predator is the dreaded Spossa whale, that is until man entered into the mix. Based in London, the Society is passionate about helping to preserve these rare beasts, and with your help, one day restore the creatures so that they can be appreciated for generations to come.
